Robert Semrau was a Canadian forces officer who served on the Afganistan mission. He faced a rough go of it after he got back.
A war gamming blog on the Cold War in 1/72. Emphasis on plastic figures, and equipment on all sides. Plus a smattering of Pop culture soldiers on both sides of the divide would have enjoyed.

American militia on the way se ond try
Last summer I tried to order American militia. This summer I've done again.
The full force i have.Assault rifle teams and leaders
RPG-7 and 60mm mortar teams
Pick up trucks as transports or fire support
I ordered 2 packs this time. I'll get them painted up once I get back to work with the Comissionaires.
I also plan to use them as Iranian Basiji due to the irregular nature and weapons.
I'm slowly painting them up based on the characters from the movie and also what I'd figure they should look like.

With the new Canadian Forces force in the revised NATO book, I have the ability to field my Iltis force
Originally I had them with .30 cal mgs but I do have a few GPMG gunners which I can mount. Also I have some TOW gunners kicking around so my plan is to require them to change.
With my military posting this summer I might be able to build them over the winter once I Pay off some bills
Cougars and more infantry will also be on order and Grizzlies

9th East German Division vs 1st UK Armoured Division
Surprisingly I have yet to have a battle with my new East German force. No have I used my Challengers
The East Germans have pushed through the Netherlands resulting in them falling g back. The British will try and halt the attack.
T-55 hoardeNew T-72B
More T-72B
The 1st UK Division. 2 Armoured Regiments with a Mechanized Battalion and support
The battle went like this. The East Germans advanced via the centre and right flank. Their recce on the left probed into the town where they were cut apart by the Irish Guards and Queens Own Yeomanry.
The East German T-55s basics were picked off by the Chieftains squadron while the new Challengers slowly knocked out the T-72B sections. The Queens Dragoon Guards put up a fight over the control of the bridge. The East Germans were still sending in their Motorized Rifles having lost their weapon support companies.
