The Czechoslovakia force I am building up for World War 3 Team Yankee has been a long process.
I began this force in 1992, and began to requip it in 2002.
When i began the Team Yankee series I began to revitalize the force.
The supplement Czechslovak People`s Army lays out the formation of the
1 Taknova Divize
1 Tankovy Pluk: still being painted
1 Squadron of 4 T-72s, T-55s to be added later, or a Hungarian company to also join (3)
1 Mototizovany Pluskovy Pluk:
BMP-1 Motor Rifle Battalion with one section of BMP-2 these are being painted
11. Motorizovany Puskovy Pluk:
A mixed Regiment of BTR-60s AND OT-64 APCS. Eventually I will equip the force with the OTs. The BTR-60s equipped squadron are actually reservists who usually are mounted in trucks but have been

reequipped at the outbreak of war.
1st Artillery Regiment:
RM-70 Rocket Launchers, a unique Czechslovak version of the BM-21 system.
this is one effective system, giving a good amount of firepower.

9th Anti-aircraft Missile Regiment:
Gaskin platoon.

216th Anti-tank Regiment
11th Helicopter Regiment, 1st Attack Squadron:
eventually 2 Hinds. At the moment there is one.
The infantry for this section come from the Czechslovak 22 Regiment, their airborne regiment which can deploy either by parachute, or by helicopter.
The most interesting thing about the Czechslovak forces is their camoflauge paint pattern on their vehicles.
Most Warsaw Pact forces have just an Olive colour. But this force has an interesting 3 colour pattern

The Czechslovak specific role was to tie down NATO forces in Southern West Germany. As such, their main opponents would be the Americans or West Germans. The Canadians, supporting the West Germans would have come into contact with these troops as well.
As this force grows, more to follow. They will be attached to a Soviet division to augment both armies
