The Motor Rifles growing
So I set out all of the Warsaw Pact units minus the Airborne support and saw that some units have gaps, ie, the Soviets lack BMP-1 for their Motorized rifle Regiments. Eventually I will rectify this, but it does make for an interesting look at how the Soviets would have been pressured into fielding equipment to make up for losses.
On the other hand, my NATO forces are slowly creeping up on the offensive.
During this summer's season I have been able to equip some more units with M113 variations with several units of mortar carriers. Once I can organize my additional tables, I will be able to use the units in a campaign. The results will be my own tournament to see how well my NATO forces can push back against the Warsaw Pact invasion of Western Europe.
Interesting to note that so far, in my games the attacking player is usually the one who wins. I have been using the artificial opponent which Battlefront Miniatures came up with during the Covid pandemic.
I've also been able to get caught up on a few things so I'm going to see about some additions to the table.
