Last battle of tank 208, Soviet t72 vs Uk chieftain

My son and I have decided to try out this action as a way to flesh out the rules.

A Soviet T-72 company inches forward

A lone Centurian awaits the Soviets. Having gotten lost in a very quick withdrawl, the commander is giving a Scout briefing to the British units to his rear.
Despite their efforts the crew were forced out,  however they were able to radio of the oncoming advance of Soviet and German forces. The T-72s were fast on the draw. Having come on on the sides, the Chieftian was quickly taken out, however, the crew were able to bail out.

Air Support for NATO and Warsaw Pact

Recently I was able to visit the local aircraft museum which has a wonderful museum of older model kits. I was able to get a Frogfoot jet for my Soviets,
Which is now part of the 1st Assault Aviation Division

an Mi25 Hind Helicopters for my East Germans, a Lynx chopper for my British and I completed a Bloodhound Missle as a game objective. As well as a Harrier.
I was able to build the kits as I has some time while at work to on them while at my guard post.
Pictures will follow
Oh and the 3 Chieftain tanks, now have 7!

BTR 60 APC in the Warsaw Pact

I was able to get a box of these this week. The plan is to see how many metal ones I have and see which countries will be equipped. The East Germans used them, and I'd like to build a Soviet section as well.

286th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment
The other carriers I'm building up for the East Germans, Polish and Czechoslovakian force

Updated for October 2019, now have another 5, so I believe that I now have 10 plastic, a 1/72 plastic and a metal one which I got in Singapore Christmas of 2000. I just have to rebuild it. Or it becomes an objective marker
As of Summer 2020, I now have Motor Rifle Regiments for the Soviets, East Germans, Polish, and Czechoslovakian armies.

East German 9th Panzer Division

need need some paint

So I was able to squirrel away some funds after taking care of both my cars and got additions to my East Germans. I now have a full company. I will have one section mounted in BMP-1 and another section in BTR 60s. I picked up 5 BTR 60s just need to start building them.

The 9th Panzer Division is now
4 T-72s, 3 T-55s, 21st Panzer Regiment
9th Motorized rifle Regiment
BMP-1, 3 carriers
Btr 60, 3, 1 carrier with the weapons platoon
2 BRDM
1 SA-9 platoon: 2 Gaskin vehicles.
In light of the DDR getting some new kit, they potentially have a Recce Squadron of BMP-2

Spandrel AT platoon: 2 vehicles
SA

1 Mi-24 Helicopter with Air landing company
May 2020 update I need to get some decals and paint on these.
As of October 2020, I have painted up another platoon. This one will either become an Airborne or Naval infantry platoon  depending on which unit needs them.

Indian invasion of Portuguese Goa 1961 Operation Vijay

Part of India's reconquest of territory from Eurpoeans.
The information from this incident comes from several different sources, namely the Osprey book on Modern African Wars Angola and Mozambique.
As noted with other actions in the era, the equipment of both armies is rather unique.
India had begun to acquire some new weapons in tanks, but for the most part, their forces would be little different from their father's or uncle's appearence 20 years earlier.

The Portuguese likewise would also be sporting Second World War kit having been neutral then and getting military assistance from America during the inception of NATO.
