Red Thunder:Soviets in WW III

Before I went to work on Saturday, I did some errands and picked up a new force book, Red Thunder. This covers the Soviets for 1985 in the Team Yankee series.
I now have an offensive to build up for the fall.
286 Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment

345th Guards Air Landing Regiment

29th Guards Tank Regiment

Support elements which are being switched up between units. The 1/72 kits will be for a different formation.

199th Artillery Regiment, continues to grow

At the moment, I have:
A section of T-72s
2 sections of T-80s
4 sections of T-64s
2 sections of T-62s

I shall take stock of my kit, and with the addition of T-64s a unit of 5 tanks and a section of 3 T-62s of the 74th Guards Tank Regiment I should be able to now have 2 Soviet tank regiments and a mixed Warsaw Pact Division.
At the moment, I believe that I have enough kit to field the 94th Guards Motorized Rifle Division
This consists of a T-64 Regiment of 4 sections
A Motorized Rifle Regiment of BTR-60
A 152mm heavy
 battery (Acacia) 3 sp guns.
I have 2 sets of Potecknov's Bears which gave me 14 T-72s which I have divided between my Warsaw Pact force, and 4 Mi-24 Hind helicopters

Several sets of BMP-1 or BMP-2
Several sets of BTR-60
A Motor Rifle company set
A second Motor Rifle company set but from Plastic soldier company
A motor rifle platoon set
1 plastic SU- 25 aircraft
A ZSU-23-4 set
A SA-13 Gopher set
A SA-8 Gecko set
A Carnation battery
An Acacia battery
A BM-21 Hail Rocket Battery
A Storm Anti-tank platoon
I have several BRDM vehicles
A Spandrel set
A Gaskin set

It's taken me about 2 years to build up my Red Thunder collection to a bare minimum. I plan to add a few more bits but I think I have enough to finally game most of the scenarios.
