Romanian Airborne battalion

Due to the Romanian government's need to pay foreign debts, their military is lackig in the latest kit, however, they do have a battalion which can be dropped behind enemy lines.

These troops will find themselves fielded in a large Warsaw Pact Airborne assault.

As per my large amount of Warsaw Pact units as Airborne, I have modeled these troops as well.
The Bulgarians however are the lowest on the priority in the purchasing of newer kit, so they may also be fielding ww2 German weapons as well.

British 5th Infantry Brigade, 1982

This was the formation sent to the Falklands. I will also use it as a light infantry brigade/ Battle group for my Team Yankee games in 1/72.

New rules for my Cold War: Team Yankee

For my 44th Birthday, I bought Battlefront Miniatures Team Yankee World War III rule system.
Having grown up in the Cold War, I have always wanted to game this period.

i plan on buying the Iron Maiden and Volksarmee expansion.

However, half of the order i made from the company arrived, so I'm a little disappointed.

4 CMBG to hold off a Warsaw Pact push

A Warsaw Pact mixed brigade of Polish, Czech and East Germans are going to try and push through a West German village. The Canadians are the closest troops and are rushing to hold off the on rush.

The Canadian Brigade is holded up in a German village.

a mixed Warsaw Pact division advances in column to hit the Canadian position

 2RCR begin to open fire

A Polish regiment attacks with a tank squadron in support.

Polish Naval infantry hit the Canadian left. The area had been pounded to pieces by Russian missiles hence all the destruction

the edge of the Canadian position.
The Canadians were able to hold on and halt the attack. This was my first game using the Canadians but I was still getting to grips with the Team Yankee rules thus I was using the Bolt Action order dice to activate my units. I have been able to get to grips with the activation orders which are much easier than Bolt Action.
