A bit of terrain I got yesterday

A war gamming blog on the Cold War in 1/72. Emphasis on plastic figures, and equipment on all sides. Plus a smattering of Pop culture soldiers on both sides of the divide would have enjoyed.
The kits are a mix of older Cold War gear and some older Soviet systems.
Needless to say I will be kept busy
The current ANZAC Brigade consists of
M113 Cavalry troop (3)
5th/7th RAR
M113 (3) with infantry
M125 Mortars (2)
Milan teams (8)
106mm Landrover (4)
Scorpion troop (2)
In this scenario the ANZAC recce force is holding a wooded ridge overlooking a highway.
The Soviet force is made up of a Recce battn
BMP-1 BMP-2 Storm supported by a BMP mounted Motor rifle section.
On the other hand, my NATO forces are slowly creeping up on the offensive.
During this summer's season I have been able to equip some more units with M113 variations with several units of mortar carriers. Once I can organize my additional tables, I will be able to use the units in a campaign. The results will be my own tournament to see how well my NATO forces can push back against the Warsaw Pact invasion of Western Europe.
Interesting to note that so far, in my games the attacking player is usually the one who wins. I have been using the artificial opponent which Battlefront Miniatures came up with during the Covid pandemic.
I've also been able to get caught up on a few things so I'm going to see about some additions to the table.
