this brave group of Irish troops led by Cpl Redden holds off a Soviet tank group. Eventually his unit was wounded but not before he and his team were recommended for the VC.

Chieftians hide in a small wood

the Abbot battery make their battlefield debut. Unfortunately, half the battery fell victim to the Carnation battery, a single Abbot attempted to counter fire but eventually fell victim
It was a hard fought engagement. The British threw everything they had at the Russians but the Soviets eventually attacked in force, destroying the British. Further up the road, a small holding force of British await a new Soviet push.
