The Russians knock out the Italian tank squadron

the Danish Logistics units try to quickly move the supplies away from the Soviet attack.
the Danish and Norwegian tank regiments move in to knock out the IDRITSA Regiment and are in turn knocked out by the 914th KIEV Artillery Regiment, 3 2S1 Carnation SP Howitzer

Soviet BTR 60 addition

I found this vehicle at one of the hobby shops I visited in Halifax. I shall be fielding this on an upcoming game of Soviets attempting to break through the Canadian and British defences
This is now a part of my Soviet Guards Division.
my other smaller ones will be assigned to a Russian, Polish, East German or Czech force.

Soviet Artillery: Carnation battery

I had limited artillery support for my Soviet force. The WW2 era guns will be passed on to the Hungarian force. The Polish and Czech forces will be using SU-100

first bit of paint, and they need some decals
the new Artillery/SLAVO template I picked up last weekend.

12/20/2018
I was able to get an artillery and slave template yesterday on discount as no one was buying them. I had fun at the only store in Nova Scotia that sells Team Yankee kits.
As of June 2020, I have repainted the battery to better match the colour of the rest of my Soviet force.

Royal Artillery in Team Yankee, Abbots, M109s, L118 towed guns

I ordered a set of Abbots from Battlefront Miniatures, the makers of the Team Yankee system. I also bought the British supplement Iron Maiden.
This is a vehicle which I wanted to have for quite some time. The artillery support for my British force now consists of two batteries of Abbots, a battery of  M109 which can also be fielded.
And I also have an MLRS launcher.
For team Yankee, the Iron Division consists of two units
Gibraltar Battery, Royal Artillery: 4 Abbots
2 Field Regiment Royal Artillery: 2 M109
with a Forward Observation Officer mounted in an FV 432.
46th Air Defense Battery, Royal Artillery: 4 Blowpipe SAM launchers.
Soon to be Rapier battery
In 1/72 I have a 4 105mm gun battery with trucks and crew.

New Team Yankee book: Free Nations

Oh I'm getting excited for this one.
 (Battlefront Miniatures)
So now I'll be able to know how to field any French units I have plus finally being able to have my Dutch and Canadian units ready. Added bonus is the ANZAC units which are also present.
So I can make a Commonwealth division!
I have also on order of 2 diecast French tanks, to add to the one I already have. Eventually, I will fill out the French force to have APCs and artillery
And as of 1/19/2019, I have the book and the start of the French division and the fleshing out of the British, Canadian, and ANZAC forces

Warsaw Pact offensive against the 21st Panzer Division West Germans, Spring, 1986

The Soviets begin advancing up the German farming town.

The first German Panzer battalion is taken out.
But the Soviets are unaware of the German anti-tank teams
The Germans move in, and open fire
Eventually, the Soviets drove through a tank charge which defeated the West German Panzer battalions, but we're unable to silence the German artillery nor stop the Panzergrenadiers from swarming forward with their newer version of the Panzerfaust. A final slavo drove off the Soviets. The Warsaw Pact infantry fell back with what ever Soviet Armor that still lived. The West Germans held the town.
